Bless the Lord!
It's Saturday and I am still finding myself thinking about what was said at Encounter. How the Lord moved in a great and mighty way. As Matt (Browning) spoke on God's heart for the nations. How God desires that not one should perish but, that ALL would come to repentance. The Lord layed on my heart that I am His daughter, a daughter of the Savior of the World (that in itsself blows me away). That I am called to be like Christ. I should strive to be like Christ in every part of my life. God has a heart for the nations. He's passionate about his children coming to repentance. I should be concerned for the nations as well. People ALL over the world have NEVER heard the the name of Jesus Christ. Who will never have a chance to go to Heaven. Unless they are told. Whose going to tell them? For the first time in years, I actually found myself saying "Lord, if you want me to go, I'll go" Matt read Genesis 26:4 and at the end of that verse it says "all nations on earth will be blessed" Our God who is So great! Cares about ALL nations and ALL people on earth. He says in Matthew 24 that the End will come once all nations have heard and everyone has heard the name of Christ! All have something to offer, I am just waiting on my opportunity to go. One thing Matt said that really got my attention he said "you can't swing a dead cat around this town without hitting a church." Which is so true! I've heard the gospel many times, and there are people who haven't heard it once. Father send me, I will go, I will go! To make your name great among the nations. I desire to see the Lord glorified in my life! May He be glorified through my life, wherever I am, May He be pleased!
